The Shops Directory
Tossa de Mar has lots of shops and services, most of them crammed into the winding streets of the Vila Nova and some spilling out onto the backstreets and beyond.
Opening hours vary slightly but most follow the general rule of opening relatively early in the morning, closing for the siesta between around 2pm and 4pm, and then opening again until around 9 or 10pm. Supermarkets generally open around 8.30am and most, but not all, outlets are open on Sundays. Most of the gift shops stay open all day with no siesta break. Special hours apply on feast days and public holidays and these will be displayed by each individual shop.
